treadlasso

Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of treadlasso, a personal training dashboard. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Your account

You must be at least 13 years old and meet any higher minimum age or consent requirements that apply where you live. Use an account you are authorized to control, provide accurate information, and protect access to your Google or GitHub account. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.

Sign-in and account recovery are handled by your connected identity provider. The service may be unable to restore access if you lose access to all connected providers.

Connecting Garmin and other services

Connecting Garmin authorizes treadlasso to use your Personal API key to retrieve, store, and analyze the data available through that key, including activity, location, and health data. Imports may run automatically while the connection is active. Only connect data and credentials you are authorized to use.

You can disconnect Garmin from your account and revoke the key through Garmin. Disconnecting stops future imports and removes the stored key; previously imported data remains unless you request its deletion. Google, GitHub, Garmin, map providers, and weather providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Their availability and behavior may change.

treadlasso is an independent service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google, GitHub, or Garmin.

Acceptable use

You may use the service for lawful personal training analysis. Do not access another person's account or data without authorization, bypass security controls, misuse credentials, upload malicious content, interfere with the service, or use it in a way that violates applicable law or another provider's terms.

Your data

You retain your rights in the data you provide. You grant the operator permission to process, store, display, and export that data as needed to provide and secure the service. Handling of personal information is described in the service's Privacy Policy.

Keep your own copies of important activity recordings and records. Imports, calculations, exports, and backups may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate.

Training and health information

The dashboard provides information for personal reference. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or professional coaching. Do not rely on its metrics or recommendations for medical decisions or emergencies. Consult a qualified professional about health concerns and exercise within your abilities.

Availability and changes

The operator may change, suspend, or discontinue features or the service, and may restrict accounts that misuse it or create security risks. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, successful synchronization, continued compatibility with external providers, or preservation of data.

Disclaimer and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, or availability. The operator is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data, or losses arising from interruptions, third-party services, or reliance on training metrics, to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Stopping use and deleting your account

You may stop using the service at any time. Disconnect Garmin and revoke its key to stop imports. You can also revoke sign-in access through your identity provider. Revoking access or signing out does not itself delete your account or stored training data.

For questions about these terms or to request deletion of your account and stored data, contact the operator using the support email shown on treadlasso's Google sign-in consent screen. Account ownership may need to be verified before a deletion request is fulfilled.

Updates to these terms

We may revise these terms as the service changes. The date above identifies the latest revision. We will provide notice of material changes when required by law. Continuing to use the service after updated terms take effect means you accept them.
